$5.00 Goes to Toys for Tots!

Market America’s SNAP PAK- Save $20

Today I’m going to share a bit about the Market America Snap Pak available at: www.scottshopping.com. It includes everything you need to clean the home and office: laundry detergent (what, you don’t wash your work clothes?), dishwashing liguid, fabric softener, heavy duty cleaner, all- purpose natural concentrate, cream scouring cleanser, disinfectant cleaner, and a home/shop cloth; all in a Snap accessory pack.

It’s a great way to get acquainted with each item because when you order the Snap Pak, you save over $20, vs. buying each separately.

It’s $64.95. I buy the packs and give as Christmas gifts to my friends, relatives and clients. It truly is a useful and practical gift!

Here’s one last thing, for every SNAP PAK order I get at www.scottshopping.com before Christmas 2011, I’ll donate $5.00 to Toys for Tots!

Make it a great day! Ter

Use IMPRINTED buttons to get the word out!

Sometimes people don’t understand the power and positive pricing advantage of promo products over other advertising mediums. Today I’ll speak about imprinted buttons.

Consider a 2” round diameter button (or badge) priced at 1.29 (this is full color or “multiple color”) for 100 buttons as an example.

I won’t do a direct comparison with all media but I’ll just say if you were to “test” this by ordering and distributing only 100 buttons, your investment would only be $129 for 100 initial impressions; try getting a newspaper ad that is here today, gone tomorrow for only $129! (I’m not necessarily knocking newspaper ads, or similar, as I recommend it to many clients for certain purposes. I’m just showing the real value here with imprinted items).

Now with buttons,

• your initial impact is when you present your button to the recipient (how much is that worth; especially when you “romance” or put some flair as to how you present it) but it doesn’t end there;

• your button will receive multiple impressions as others see them.

How much is this worth? Just like a sign on a bus, this is “transit” advertising at very little cost!

I'm promoting AMSOIL, and will pay you to use it...at wholesale pricing!

You can be a preferred customer and get Amsoil products at wholesale without being dealer? As a marketing campaign and for a limited time, I will pay your $10 fee for your first six months. After that you are on your own and can either renew as a preferred customer, become a dealer and make money with your own website (and my marketing techniques), or quit all together.

This is real and I am paying $10 out of my own pocket so I hope you’ll be serious when doing this. I won’t make any real money from your purchases as you are getting everything at wholesale. I will make some money when and if you become a dealer.

This is a great way to try the products or to get back in if you’ve been a dealer in the past! If you want to resign as a dealer, I’ll throw $10 in toward your sign up fee, how’s that!

Just email me at: terscottpromotes@yahoo.com and be sure to state AMSOIL QUESTIONS in the subject line.

*We reserve the right to limit the number of memberships we pay for each month. Also, this offer may be withdrawn at any time.

MOTIVATION BULLET

From time to time, I like to share a few “bullets” of wisdom that will hopefully make you “stronger” not only as a speaker but as a person as well. Remember that when I’m (figuratively) pointing a finger at you, I’m pointing the others right back at me; we all need this stuff to move on!

I read from a group of books at the same time, a kind of multitasking for the mind. One of the books I’m reading now is called NO EXCUSES! Fitness Workout, written by Harvey Walden and I must say this guy is the real deal. He’s a marine and is seen on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club.

I’ve only read a few pages but this guy gets right in your face from the pages of this book. I’m sharing with you just a few paragraphs from page 4:

In martial arts you learn that if someone pushes you down you’ve got to know how to roll, how to fall, and how to absorb the blow. You’ve got to give in so that you can come back up and kick some a--.

That’s a good lesson for life too.

So the trick is to find your chi: Relax, breath easy, believe you can do it.

Roll with the punches- and then come back up.

And you already know: The good things in life don’t come easy. When you put in the hard work and make sacrifices, and believe me, if you bust you butt you appreciate what you’ve achieved later. Don’t think its’ always going to be read roses. H---, if it was easy, you’d be a waste of sperm.

Strong stuff, right?

Let’s be strong. Sure you’ll have obstacles, you’ll have times you don’t want to do something, times you’ll settle for less, and want to find ways not to do something instead of finding alternatives to make it happen.

Make it happen! Ter

Get Paid to Read Ter Scott’s NEW KINDLE BOOK: Personal PR, Getting What You Want through Better Personal Relations!

Yep, you read this right. I will pay you to read this short book on human relations. The great part is that by reading this book, it will pay you, as many books will, many times over as you use the simple straight forward techniques.

Getting paid to read my PERSONAL PR kindle book, is part of a marketing campaign I’m currently doing. To get all the details, visit: http://www.terscott.com/ . It’s right on the first page of my site in the blue box. You will also see a place to click to hear an abbreviated version of when I presented it to Toastmasters International some time back; it’s a 5 -7 minute presentation I customize and use when I speak at meetings and conventions. The book is based on this award winning speech.

So, visit http://www.terscott.com/ right now while the marketing campaign is running and tell your friends too.

Make it a great day!

Ter Scott Promotes Members Cooperative Credit Union in Cloquet Minnesota

Recently I had the pleasure, of opening an account at a local credit union. It's not often one can state that they've "had the pleasure" with such an experience, but both Mary and Becky made my time there very positive. Here's the first draft of a letter that I will be mailing the business shortly. If you are in the area, you should consider their services. Details follow.

I want to thank you for a very pleasant customer service experience when I came to your main Cloquet location. I stopped by to open an account because I recently purchased a car loan from your firm.

My first contact was Mary who was not only pleasant and “knew her stuff”, but she is a “get it done now” person. She got right on the phone to my insurance company to get the needed information so I wouldn’t have to deal with it later.

My next contact point was with Becky who is efficient but not “stuffy”. She too was pleasant and could multitask doing the necessary things and still banter back and forth with my dry sense of humor. What I really appreciated about her and her work is that she walked me through everything so I could approve what the imprint of my checks will be and she answered all my questions.

As a marketing professional and one who teaches Customer Service both to businesses and at Duluth Business University, I like to honor those who offer great customer service experiences. It is clear that this is a planned part of your organization’s culture; good job!

If I may, I’d like to suggest a few things, marketing wise. You have a wonderful “portfolio” of your services in the seating area and also at Becky’s desk, which I understand Becky had a hand in creating. This is great! That is an awesome marketing piece. My suggestion would be to have a smaller version created to use as a take along brochure for new clients. I asked Becky if she would copy a few pages for me and she did.

Next, you may consider creating an imprinted folder to hold all of these important papers I received, or at least, an imprinted paperclip (these are unique, and many people don’t know they exist!) and they add a very nice professional touch.

Finally, but not least in importance, is the writing instrument. All the while your client is signing things (however with today’s technology we write on an electronic signature pad), he or she can be using a pen with your imprint (preferably emblazed with your mission statement as this is the initial contact with your business) and send the pen home with the new client!

Attached is the latest Navigator; a quarterly “idea piece” offering savings on imprinted promotional items I offer through my company AD KING LLC partnered with Newton Manufacturing. If I may be of service in any way with the marketing suggestions above, please contact me. I would like to offer a free or reduced priced entry to one of my future marketing seminars to one or two marketing people in your firm at your request. I am also expressing my gratitude for your fine customer service in my blogs on the Internet and will comment on many of the online “yellow page” type listings on the Internet as my way of “thanks” for a job well done; bravo!

Please extend my thanks to both Mary and Becky for making this first experience both positive and enjoyable!

Ter Scott promotes Jeff Herring and Andy Andrews

Here is a special treat!

As an aspiring attainment seeker, you may someday speak before many from a lectern or, at any rate, I know that you want to be successful in any endeavor you choose.

Every Sunday I get a short inspirational message from my friend in the business, Jeff Herring. He is known as the Internet Article Guy and just knowing about his website gives you a source to find out how to turn your thoughts into articles that can bring you income.

But I’m sharing this email message that I got from him yesterday because he is interviewing a man who I met years ago, Andy Andrews. This man wrote a book that 51 publishers said would never sell, and it became a best seller (go figure!). Now he has even written a sequel that again is a bestseller.

For you, this means that whatever the critics think, you can still do it. You can still attain whatever it is you wish to attain! Remember that what your evaluator, instructor or a critics says has merit- but it is only an indicator for your success. You, like Andy, make the difference!

The interview is tonight (Monday) and it’s free. If you can register to get in and listen (if it's not filled), I think you’ll find it inspirational, and educational; and maybe change your life in a very positive way!

Here’s the email with the links that I got from my friend Jeff:

Ter Scott Promotes Hardees' for great customer service and good food!

I love promotion and I love promoting good companies, good customer service and good products.

I just had a great customer service encounter at the only Hardees left in the Northland (Twin Ports, covering the Duluth MN/Superior WI area). Here is my letter to them:

Friday, April 8th, 2011

To everyone on the Hardees team,

Good day!

I’m taking this moment to express my sincere thanks for the great customer service I always receive when visiting your restaurant. I want you to know that it was a great tasting sandwich that prompted this letter.

Today I ordered two of your roast beef sandwiches that were on special. I requested horseradish sauce for my order but after the first bite I realized that using it would alter the already mouth watering delight! It was juicy and flavorful to the point I was looking for the au juice for dipping.

Great job to all who created this wonderful experience!

Sincerely,

Ter Scott!
PS. I apologize if this sounded like a commercial (maybe because that’s what I do),
but I am being totally honest.

If you are ever in an area that offers Hardees, check it out. I hope your experience is equal or better than mine!
Make it a great day!
