Ter Scott explains a few things about your membership.

Dear (Prospective) NFIB member,

You expressed interest in becoming a member so here is a “snapshot” of what you’ll receive ONLINE with your membership.

First, let me tell you that I’m very passionate about helping small business succeed and specifically yours. Most business owners know that the secret of living is giving and many NFIB members give back to the community, state and country by taking a greater part in all NFIB offers.

I’m excited that you desire to get the most from your NFIB membership by doing just a bit more.

NFIB has made things very streamlined for you so as not to hinder your daily business activities. For 75 years NFIB has helped business and with the online E-Federation system MEMBERS have quick access to their political leaders and the issues. (This is available to members only but I present it here for prospective members so they can see just a few ways NFIB strengthens their voice in Washington DC and their state capital.

As a member, you can choose the level of active support you would like to be involved. For those who would like more than only voting the ballots, please read on!

Here are a few highlights:
You have access to many vendor partners where you can literally, save thousands on goods and services you are already using in your business. This saves you time, money and this can usually more than pays the fee for your membership.

You have direct access to your NFIB State Director.

You have direct access to the best small business member support team in America.

You have access to NFIB’s Legal Center

Immediately after getting your membership receipt via email,
please register (E-Federate) using the REGISTER HERE email.

First, create a password, and then move forward.

State whether you live at (or close to your business address). This ensures that you will get your local officials emails for quick communication. You’ll see all of your elected official’s emails populate on your screen.

Then you’ll be able to select the topics to receive via email from NFIB. We do not want to email you things you don’t want to know about or read. Select a few; you can always change them later. Then, be sure you open every email we send! They are important to knowing the issues and having your voice heard.

Next, we’ll ask you in what areas you’d like to be active; local events, talking to the press, etc. This is great publicity for your business.

Then be sure to take a moment and “vote the ballots”.

There is more but when you get this far you can always come back and add or change things later.

Remember that as a member I’ll assist you with a quick walk through and you’ll have member support to help you as well.

If you are considering becoming a member of NFIB in have a voice for your business at your state capital (regardless of what state your business is in) contact me and I’ll help you or I will put you in touch with someone.

Remember to enjoy the materials we have for non-members online at NFIB.com but DON’T SIGN FOR MEMBERSHIP ONLINE AT THE SITE, please allow me to assist you (so you’ll be sure to get all you are entitled to).

Finally, if you know of anyone in the 50 states that is “under-employed” and/or seeking a career change, NFIB is looking for Membership Reps. Simply follow the steps below.
Make it a great day!
