Have you heard of Kentucky Fried Chicken? I’m sure that you
have and you probably think that this is a stupid question; maybe even absurd.
There may be a few that have only known the famous chain as KFC. What about
McDonald's, and Google? Of course you tell me; what are you trying to get at
Ter, you ask.
First allow me to ask just a few more questions. If you
could go back in time and you were one of the thousand people the Colonel asked
if you wanted to buy his recipe, would you? Would you have seen the vision that
Ray Kroc did when he bought the idea from the McDonald's brothers? More recently,
where were you when Google came on the scene; did you take part in that?
Right now there is a marketing phenomenon that is spreading
across America like the early McDonald's and KFC chains and will (in my humble opinion)
be larger than Google. If you own a business or are an entrepreneur who can
bring this vision to the small to medium sized business merchants in your local
area, you need to know about this.
The company is Lyoness. It started in Austria and is now in
46 countries. Now in the USA it promises to be the prominent way for consumers
to find and shop at businesses. And on the side of the merchant, it will be the
prominent way to market one’s business in the very near future. Lyoness has
found a very unique and cutting edge way to bring consumers to merchants.
Today when I speak with business prospects about this, they
can “get” in. In the future they will “have” to get in.
What I mean is that when they get involved now, they will get
a jump on their competition and share in all the benefits of the company expansion.
One way is by sharing this concept with other merchants in their sphere of
influence. For instance, a DJ company could present a loyalty card that offers
cash back to their customer when they refer new customers to them. But also,
the DJ company can share this idea with other local merchants who are sought
out by their customer such as wedding photographers, caterers, banquet
facilities, etc. where the loyalty card will also be honored. By doing so the
DJ company gets paid when their customer purchases products and services from
those merchants. This is “genius”! And there isn’t enough room here to tell you
all the ways that the merchant will benefit; just know that if you own a
business and when a Lyoness Business to Business Consultant talks to you, be
sure to get all the details!
Right now, not every merchant sees the vision; just like
many did not see the thousands of KFC restaurants worldwide that exist today,
back when the Colonel was calling on businesses. Most successful people became
wealthy because they were able to recognize a “wave”; a paradigm shift, a
change of some sort and get in front of it and let it push them to riches. Lyoness
is one such wave.
For those merchants who “play it safe” and wait until
Lyoness is a “household name” and known by everyone, will enjoy a great way to
promote their business but will not share in all the benefits which accompany
that of a growing trend.
